Our Marquee Story – The Power and the Glory

This time we have an astounding story that was written for the pulp mags in 1931 by Charles W. Diffin. He was popular with the magazines published by Street & Smith. Our story quite unique and gives us an idea of just how savvy people were in the 1930s about their future. It is titled, The Power and the Glory and is read for us by Robert Dixon.

We have a short-story called Compensation that was written by Charles Victor Tench. Tench was a prolific pulp magazine writer who wrote a number articles and stories for Astounding Stories. Our tale is an amazing journey of a man who must discover what happened to his friend. The tale sucks you in and keeps you guessing as to what really happened.

Our OTR Story – The White Rose Murders

If you read this week’s blog you already know that we are going to feature Maureen O’Hara. Our story comes from OTR series Suspense. O’Hara plays a wealthy debutante who helps her detective boyfriend track down a serial killer. The tale is called The White Rose Murders and it is a story well calculated to keep you in suspense. It first aired on July 25, 1943.
