This week I am taking a bit of a break from the podcast. Not a full “no show” type of thing, but a scaled back version that I think you will enjoy. One of my favorite classic radio series is Dimension X from 1950-1951. There were only 50 shows created during its run and this Thursday you will hear two of them:
The Vital Factor – This story is about the ruthless head of Crowder Industries, who assumes the Herculean task of being the first man in history to achieve space travel. Building the ship proves easy, but to propel it at sufficient speed seems impossible, until one man shows up with an answer… and a heavy price for achieving the stars.
Untitled Story – A detective is hired by the city mayor to obtain an elixir of life from an enigmatic scientist. His investigation reveals a strange conspiracy that could have serious repercussions for the future of humanity.
