The News – October 2018

Welcome to the 8th annual Month of Spooky. We are going to have a whole lot of fun this year and when it is all said and done I think you will agree. Sylvia Shults is back for Volume V of Ghost Stories with Sylvia. Jim Harold returns for the eighth year to talk about all things creepy in Old Time Horror with Jim Harold. We have newcomer Schuler Johnson visiting to tell us about ghost hunting and his group the Paranormal Investigations & Observations Team. You might remember a story they sent in a few weeks back.  Add to it all, the stories you have sent in to and I think you see why are in for a trick-or-treat or two this year.  I want to thank all of you that sent in stories this year. It is our best showing yet. Thank you for everything you do for the podcast and these amazing stories.

Anything You Can Do  and Halloween

Not everyone was happy about the podcast. I received this note from Jo L  on Facebook.

I am so tired of hearing “Anything You Can Do”.  As soon as it starts I turn RAS off. Typically I love your show but I found the story and reading to be most tedious and monotone. Can’t wait for it to end. – Jo L.

Jo L. you are the first that has said that they don’t care for Anything You Can Do. I have made the commitment to complete the book so we will do that. There are seven chapters to go and I can guarantee it is going to get exciting. The big fight starts soon between the Bart and the Nipe and I highly recommend the end of this novel. Most people have responded favorably to the story and Mark’s reading of it. I urge you to stick with it and hear the end of the story.

However! I will say that we’ll not be playing new chapters of it during The Month Of Spooky.  It will return in November and we will finish the story of the Bart and his battle with the space alien. For those of you who can’t wait for more of the novel. I will be updating the Anything You Can Do homepage each week with new chapters introduced by Mark Nelson himself. Also, on a side note, after we finish the book, Mark Nelson will be coming on the show to talk about it. I am excited about that!
