We have a short-story called Compensation that was written by Charles Victor Tench. Tench was a prolific pulp magazine writer who wrote a number articles and stories for Astounding Stories. Our tale is an amazing journey of a man who must discover what happened to his friend. The tale sucks you in and keeps you guessing as to what really happened.

That was a great story, very well read. I too was captivated by the reading – or was it acting? At last a terrific 5 minute mystery that didn’t earn a single wise crack! That was a clever and compelling resolution and we even had a motive.
