Our OTR Story – The Man Who Stole The Bible
Our story comes from the popular series Escape. It was radio’s leading anthology series of high-adventure radio dramas. It aired on CBS from 1947 to 1954. The story we have tells you why you should never steal the bible. It is called, The Man Who Stole The Bible, and it first aired on May 5, 1950.

You mentioned how you wished you had been there in the days of OTR. Well, I was and it was fun. My mom would make a bowl of popcorn and I would set it on the floor in front of the big Victrola and listen to some of the very shows you share. We had no TV, you see, but I didn’t miss it at all.
