A few weeks ago, a listener to the podcast sent me an email. He said, he had a story that I might like, but he was neither a storyteller or a writer. I am always up for a good story, so I got him on the phone and listened. I am here to tell you that Jasen (with an E) is a great storyteller and that I plan to air it on the podcast this week. However, to whet your appetites here is an excerpt from his story in Jasen’s own words:

“ I was driving between stations when I saw a flash of light. It was lightning, actual bolts spraying out from alone, isolated storm. I had never seen lightning like that before. I stared in awe. It looked like jewelry, some kind of tiara, on a mountain. I never knew that 4:00 am could be so beautiful. I never knew it could be so terrifying!” – Jasen from Carefree, Arizona (A real place – I checked).
