RAS News and 2016 Review

Well another year has passed and we go forth into the unknown once again, which means it’s time for the 2016 review. Who can say what we will face next year, but I am sure that it will at least be interesting. I do know that for Ron’s Amazing Stories it will be a time for more growth, new things and lots and lots of stories. We live, we exist, to tell tales that keep you in suspense, excite you and hopefully chill you just a bit. I am looking forward to this next year and it is my hope that you are are too.

Email Subscribers get a Surprise!

I think that title might be misleading, because I think I actually got the surprise. This past week the website had a major problem and crashed. The issue turned out to be a Level 3 domain DNS server, which is something only my WordPress provider can deal with. After three hours on the phone with them, several more rebuilding the site, the end result was that those people who subscribe to the show via email were lost. Even the backup file was missing. This only affected about 75 listeners total. I want to be clear about this. If you get the show from iTunes, Google Plus, iHeartRadio, Stitcher, Tunein, Soundcloud, Spreaker or any other streaming service or podcast catcher you have nothing to worry about. Only those people who went to the website and signed up for email notifications were affected. How to fix this? Just come back to http://www.ronsamazingstories.com and sign up again. I do apologize for the inconvenience.

Your Stories

It happens every year around this time. The listener stories stop coming in. I know that it is season that causes this and I don’t worry when it happens.  However, I do want to remind you that I want your stories, because they are the backbone of what we do! So take some time, write down your tale or make an appointment with me to get it out there. People want to hear what you have to say! Trust me 90% of the comments I get is on your listeners stories.  To get the ball rolling just head to main site at ronsamazingstories.com and send me a comment.  OR!  If you want ,write me a email and address it to ronsamazingstories@gmail.com. We want to hear from you!

2016 Review and 2017 cometh

As 2016 review comes to an end, this coming year we will see some changes to the show. The format of the show is going to get some much needed updates and I hope to add new hardware to make recording the shows even better. To do that I need you and I need you to tell you friends to listen. Strength and growth come only through continuous effort and struggle. Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning.  So, please take a minute and tell a friend about the show, maybe write a review or respond to the posts on Facebook or Twitter.  All of this helps the show and makes us GROW!

As always I want to thank you guys for listening to the show. You are why I do this. What makes me happy is when I get thank you notes from people like Ryan Murray or Daniel Dabbs. Or suggestions from people like Jim Goodluck and many others. It means the world to me.  And to you guys on the radio side. Thank you for listening and keeping us on the play list! To all I wish you a Happy New Year and I hope you continue to enjoy Ron’s amazing Stories.
