This week we have a science fiction double feature. Our first story comes from IF Worlds of Science Fiction, March of 1954. It is titled Time Fuze and was written by the great author Randall Garrett. The ultradrive had just one slight drawback: it set up a shock wave that made suns explode. Our second story was written by Fredric Brown. It comes from Amazing Stories March of 1954 and is titled Keep Out.  With no more room left on Earth, and with Mars hanging up there empty of life, somebody hit on the plan of starting a colony on the Red Planet.

Stories Include – My Pal And The Cave, Review – Rivals! Frenemies Who Changed the World,  A Night Visit From The Faceless Girl, The Toil Bridge Train, Time Fuse, and Keep Out.

Our featured story is a strange one from the demented mind of Arch Obler and the OTR series Lights Out. Two magicians battle for control of a zombie. This is a fascinating story that is quite creepy. RAS #627 – Martian VFW

On Ron’s Amazing Stories, we have an exciting lineup of tales that will captivate your imagination. First up, we have a review of one of my favorite audiobooks, Moon – The Dragon Prince. This epic adventure combines a compelling storyline with superb narration.

Next, we delve into the archives of These Are Your Stories for a special tale that will leave speechless. A seemingly ordinary encounter on a beach turns into an extraordinary experience that will challenge your beliefs and have your jaws dropping.

For our featured stories, we turn to the pages of the classic pulp magazines. I’m a big fan of alien invasion adventures, and this one is not like anything you’ve heard before. And to close the show, we have a short but powerful piece of pulp fiction titled Resurrection. This captivating story explores the idea of reincarnation before the scientific understanding of DNA.

So press that play button and Enjoy the show.

Martian V.F.W.

Our featured story comes from the 1950s pulp mag scene. It was written G.L. Vandenburg. He was one of those writers who would flourish during the golden age of science fiction. In this story we look at one possible way the world could be invaded, but it is not what you think. It is titled Martian V.F.W. and was first published in Amazing Science Fiction Stories in May of 1959. There’s nothing like a parade, I always say. Of course, I’m a Martian.
