RAS #434 – Special Episode

Welcome to Ron’s Amazing Stories. I know that I said in the past that there would be no more replays, but this week we have a replay. You see I got to spend a night in the emergency room and that has left me pretty down. The replay I have decided on is probably my favorite show from last year.  It is the 400th episode that features Jim Harold as co-host and we talk about UFOs. Jim and I listen to four amazing tales which include Oh My Orbs, UFO, Close Encounter, and My Seventh Summer (Sent in by my brother!). All stories were sent in by you. In fact, we have nothing but your stories in this one. So, relax and enjoy our 400th episode.

Featured Guest – Jim Harold

Having begun podcasting on the paranormal in 2005, Jim Harold is among a handful of pioneers of the medium. His programs have stood the test of time and The Paranormal Podcast and Campfire remain among the most popular in the genre. Jim has developed a loyal following that spans the globe. In addition to his free podcasts at JimHarold.com, Jim also hosts a series of premium podcasts on the supernatural and related subjects at JimHaroldPlus.com

No Work Today, I have a Bug!

No Work TodayI know that I said in the past that there would be no more replays, but this week we have a replay. You see I got to spend a night in the emergency room and that has left me pretty down. The recovery is going slowly, but there is a plan in place. The good news is that this has nothing to with COVID 19. So, no worries there. I plan to be back in the recording studio next week, but if not I hope you will understand.

I hope that you will enjoy it.

RAS #433 – Ask A Foolish Question

On Ron’s Amazing Stories this time we have some amazing stories. We introduce a book about galactic warfare, hear about a spirit guide in Alaska, A girl has an exciting sleep paralysis experience, and Amanda’s grandpa is blue. Our featured story is a sci-fi classic and we end the show with Ali versus Marciano. All of that, and it’s free.

Featured Story – Ask A Foolish Question

Our story this week is a mind-bender, unlike anything we have ever had on the show. When I heard it I was left with so many questions that I was left with …what does it all mean? Man has always wanted to have all of the answers, now he finds a machine that can answer them. But, does he know the right question? The story is titled Ask a Foolish Question and it was written by Robert Sheckley. It first appeared in the pulp mag, Science Fiction Stories in 1953.

We visit a moment in time with reporter Taylor Grant that I think you will enjoy.  Also this week we return to the Five Minute Mystery with a story called Murder By Blood.
